MY STORY

Turning Pain Into Purpose

Hi, I’m Lillie, and I believe that no matter where you start in life, you can rise above your challenges and create a brighter future. My journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s shaped me into the person I am today—a passionate advocate for health, healing, and hope.

I grew up in a home marked by addiction and instability. Both of my parents struggled with drugs and alcohol, and their marriage ended in divorce when I was just five years old. That was the last time I saw or heard from my dad. My mom gained custody of my sister and me, but her battle with alcoholism left her unable to hold a steady job. We relied on food stamps to get by, and eating healthy simply wasn’t an option.

As a child, my health suffered. I was underdeveloped, teased for being too thin, and dealt with recurring health issues like irregular menstrual cycles, frequent UTIs, yeast infections, and getting sick multiple times a year. On top of that, I endured the emotional toll of living with my mom’s string of abusive partners. The police were often at our house, and I vividly remember her driving my sister and me to school drunk, only to come home to find her passed out.

​At 16, things reached a breaking point. My mom told me she never wanted to see me again and began packing my belongings into trash bags, threatening to burn them. With no choice, I became a legally emancipated minor and started a new chapter of my life—alone but determined to change my story.

For years, I carried the weight of my past, and while I worked hard to put myself through college and rebuild my life, I struggled with unhealthy habits and an emotional reliance on food. I always needed dessert to feel happy, and donuts, cookies, and pizza were my comfort. But that all began to shift when I met my husband.

When we first met, he was living a lifestyle I admired but hadn’t yet embraced. He didn’t eat chips, pizza, cookies, or desserts, drank no alcohol, and was committed to the gym. Being around him inspired me to look inward and ask myself hard questions: Why did I feel I needed donuts to be happy? Was I using food to suppress my feelings? His support and example helped me realize that I deserved to feel better—both physically and emotionally.

My husband’s unwavering commitment to health motivated me to make lasting changes. He has been a constant source of encouragement and inspiration, and I couldn’t have done it without him. He’s not only my greatest cheerleader but also the unsung hero behind my work. While I may be the face of our YouTube channel, he plays a huge role in its success. From brainstorming video content ideas to teaching me everything I know about health and editing our videos, he’s the backbone of our team. Though his contributions often go unnoticed, I want to make it clear—this journey wouldn’t be the same without him.

Today, I am proud to live a life I once could only dream of. I have an amazing husband, a fulfilling career as a full-time YouTuber and Certified Nutrition Health Coach, and, most importantly, my health. But my journey isn’t just about me—it’s about giving back.

I know what it feels like to be lost, alone, and hopeless. That’s why I’ve dedicated my life to helping others navigate their own health and wellness journeys. Whether you’re battling health issues, struggling to break free from the past, or simply need guidance to create a healthier lifestyle, I’m here to support you.

My mission is to show you that no matter where you start, you can take control of your life and build a healthier, happier future. There’s a rainbow after every storm if you’re willing to look for it—and I’m here to help you find it.

A Few of My Favorite Things

When I’m not creating content or helping others on their health journeys, you can usually find me doing something I love. Here’s a little glimpse into what brings me joy:

  • Traveling the world: I’ve been to 24 countries and almost all 50 states in the U.S. Exploring new places and cultures fuels my spirit and inspires my work.

  • Scrapbooking: I enjoy preserving memories and turning them into beautiful keepsakes I can cherish forever.

  • Hiking and being in nature: Whether it’s a mountain trail or a quiet forest, I feel most at peace surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

  • Reading positive mindset books: My evenings are often spent with a good book, especially anything by Dr. Joe Dispenza. His work has been life-changing for me.

  • Savoring good food: My absolute favorite meal? Rack of lamb! It’s the ultimate comfort food and a delicious reminder of how nourishing food can also be deeply satisfying.
